Senior (2006-07):

Recorded the top-Emory distance for the season, a career-best and the ninth-best distance in school history, in the shot put (13.07 meters) at the Baldwin-Wallace Mid Winter Challenge...Finished 11th in the weight throw (12.73 meters) at the University Athletic Association Indoor Track and Field Championship, a personal-best, the third-best Emory distance for the season and the 12th-best distance in Emory history...Finished third in the shot put (12.57 meters) at the Sewanee Tiger Invitational.

Junior (2005-06):

Recorded the top-Emory distance this season in the shot put with a 40'05.50" in the University Athletic Association Championships...Finished second in the javelin throw (143'10") in the Mountain Laurel Invitational (April 8th).

Prior to Emory:

Earned two varsity letters in track and field while at Houston High School ... Competed in the shot put and 100 meters ... Also played football and helped his team to a berth in the 5A state semifinals ... Fine student who was a member of the National Achievement Academy ... Also played soccer and basketball.
