Finished second in the 3,000-meter run (9:20.08) at the Sewanee Indoor Invitational, a top-twenty Emory time for the season.

Freshman (2005-06):

During the outdoor season, finished first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:14.32) at the Mountain Laurel Invitational (April 8th), the top-Emory time in the event for the season...Recorded a top-ten Emory time for the season in the 1,500-meter run (4:13.74) at the Emory Track Classic.

Prior To Emory:

Earned three letters in track at Olathe East High School ... Mike Wallace was the head coach and Tony Bozarth was the distance coach ... His best time in the 1600m was a 4:33 his senior year which ranked fourth all-time at his school ... Ran a 2:02 in the 800m ... Was a Class 6A state qualifier in the 1600m ... Recipient of AP Scholar Award ... Member of the National Honor Society.

Born May 15, 1987 ... Member of a variety of groups at Emory including the SGA and the Emory Pep Band.
