My most memorable athletic moment was: Winning the sectional meet with my high school team senior year, just my second race after coming back with a broken foot. We had lost to our rival the previous two meets and then we put five in front of their three to win.

My most memorable Emory athletic moment: Breaking two minutes in the 800-meter run during my freshman year, at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

What I like most about Emory: The experience I'm having as a student in the music department.

My most memorable athletic moment was:  Quadruple overtime basketball victory senior year in high school

My most memorable Emory athletic moment: Running at Pre-Nationals my freshman year. Hopefully this will change to running at Nationals after this season is over

What I like most about Emory: My friends

My favorite place on the Emory campus:  The WoodPEC, I spend too much time there for it not to be.

The sports teams I followed when I was younger: North Carolina and most of the Boston teams - Patriots, Celtics. For some reason, I've always hated the Red Sox even though I'm from New Hampshire

My favorite class at Emory and why: History of Film since 1938. I learned so much about the industry and I look at films a completely different way now.

The people who have helped me most at Emory are and why: My teammates. They're always there for me when I've needed them most

Any pre-meet/competition rituals:  I always listen to "Baba O'Reilly" by The Who after I warm up and before I put on my spikes

The sport I would be playing if I wasn't running/on the track and field team: I played basketball in high school

If I could have dinner with only three people in history, they would be: James Naismith, Johnny Evers (my great uncle, who's in the Baseball Hall of Fame and I never got to meet), George Washington

My most memorable athletic moment was: Assisting a goal while playing right defender in the Western New England Preparatory School Soccer Association all-star game.

My favorite class at Emory and why: Organic Chemistry.  It actually explains why reactions happen the way they do.  Also, Dr. Weinschenk is the man.

The people who have helped me most at Emory are and why: My FAME leaders Katie Goth and Kathryn Chou, as well as all the friends I've made here.  There are too many to name.

The sport I would be playing if I wasn't running/on the track and field team: Soccer. No question about it, soccer is my sport.

If I could have dinner with only three people in history, they would be: Immanuel Kant, Abraham Lincoln, and Warren Zevon

My most memorable athletic moment was: Winning the 800 at indoor conference as a sophomore over the eventual national runner-up

What I like most about Emory: Academic and social diversity - you can learn a lot just by living here

I would like to switch places for the day with: Tiger Woods

My favorite place on the Emory campus: The track

Favorite pro athlete:   Haile Gebrselassie & Dwyayne Wade - I couldn't choose

The sports teams I followed when I was younger: Orlando Magic ... what a mistake

My favorite class at Emory and why: Military Ethics (Phil 235)- the teacher was amazing and it was a very informative and interesting class

The people who have helped me most at Emory are and why: Kenneth Murrah '55C, '58L- very respectable and generous person who has guided many people towards Emory

Any pre-meet/competition rituals:   Be awake three hours before a race, even if it means waking up at 4 am

The sport I would be playing if I wasn't on the track and field/cross country teams: Racquetball, but I'm horrible at it. Or x-box

If I could have dinner with only three people in history, they would be: Immanuel Kant, Johann Fichte, and Georg Hegel - I'd like to see them argue with each other about freedom

The best advice I have ever been given: "You can be good at anything if you practice 3 hours a day"

A word to describe me away from the athletic venue: Loyal

My most memorable athletic moment was: Meeting Division I coaches and football players on football recruiting visits and having the opportunity to choose where I wanted to go and what sport to play. Also, catching a diving interception in front of eight-thousand people and college scouts against our rival team is a very memorable moment.

My most memorable Emory athletic moment: Feeling the pain of all runners when I ran the 4 by 400 relay during the inter-squad meet. It was the worst cramping I have ever had and everyone cheered because they felt the pain.

What I like most about Emory: Emory is a place where you have the opportunity to be as great as you can. Whether it is competing against DI athletes at huge meets or winning smaller ones, you have your dreams within your reach. The same goes for the academic perspective, where we learn to manage time and succeed at all aspects of life.

I would like to switch places for the day with: Kevin Federline (just joking)... maybe Elvis

My favorite place on the Emory campus: The old Cox outside benches so I can watch people walk by and have some fun with it

Favorite athlete: Shaquille O'Neal

The sports teams I followed when I was younger: LA Lakers, Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Braves

My favorite class at Emory and why: Psych 323 Drugs and Behavior... It's a very entertaining class with an enthusiastic professor and many relevant topics to the real world.

The people who have helped me most at Emory are and why: My friends have been there for me during all my ups, downs, trials, successes, and just those times when you want to do absolutely nothing but lay on the couch and talk.

Any pre-meet/competition rituals:  I always listen to the Rocky Soundtrack, Bloodsport Soundtrack, and Journey on my IPOD.  Also, wearing the tights allows me to have fun with my teammates as they joke around about my spandex (Stan-dex) ritual.

The sport I would be playing if I wasn't running/on the track and field team: Definitely football

If I could have dinner with only three people in history, they would be: Rasputin, Alexander the Great, Hugh Heffner (that's more for the entertainment value)

Ten years from now I see myself: Working in the South or a beach town doing plastic surgery with a happy and loving family  

The best advice I have ever been given and who gave it to you: "No matter what happens, you should always stand up tall, walk like a man, keep your chin up, and be above any situation" - My grandfather

What is something that very few, if any, people know about you: I used to be a good artist and attended an art institute at the age of 7, but I gave it up a long time ago.
