Emory University’s Alex Greenhouse won two individual titles at the 2010 University Athletic Association (UAA) Outdoor Track and Field Championships last weekend. The senior won the 400-meter hurdles with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 54.07 seconds in the finals, after recording a time of 53.24 seconds in the preliminaries. Greenhouse also won the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.79 seconds, just three hundredths of a second short of the provisional qualifying mark. He was also part of Emory’s all-UAA 4x100-meter relay team, which finished third in a time of 43.43 seconds. Greenhouse accounted for 21.50 of Emory’s 159 points, helping the Eagles to a third-place finish at the meet.
