Emory University's Alex Greenhouse was part of two top-three finishes while competing against mostly Division I opponents at Eagles' season-opening meet, the Roaring Tiger Opener.  Greenhouse finished third in the 300-meter dash, recording a time of 35.45 seconds.  The senior later ran the third leg of the Eagles' 4x400-meter relay team, which finished third with a time of 3:27.02.  Greenhouse also ran the 60-meter dash, finishing 13^th with a time of 7.11 seconds.  Greenhouse totaled 7.5 of the Eagles' 26 points during the meet, helping the squad to a seventh-place finish.
