Home Meet Information
The Emory University track and field team will host its second and
final outdoor meet of the season this weekend, starting with the
Emory Decathlon on Thursday and Friday, and concluding with the
Emory Classic on Friday and Saturday.
The decathlon will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March
25th, and continue on Friday, March 26th at
10:00 AM. Meanwhile, the Classic will start on Friday at 3:00
PM, and continue on Saturday starting at 9:30 AM. In
addition, on Saturday at 12:10 PM, the Eagles will hold a Senior
Appreciation Ceremony for their graduating seniors who will be
participating in their final home meet this weekend.
At a rain-shortened Emory Classic in 2009, the Emory men finished
sixth with 15 points, while the women finished second with 49
points. However, most of the second day of competition was
cancelled due to poor weather last season.
