The Emory men will open the outdoor season, following their third-place finish at the UAA Indoor Championships earlier in the month.  Last outdoor season, the Eagles claimed third-place finish at the UAA Outdoor Championships.  Emory will be returning all four members of its UAA outdoor championships 4x400-meter relay team from last season, in addition to 12 athletes who earned all-UAA honors last outdoor season.

The Emory women finished second at the UAA Indoor Championships and 34th at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships last week.  The Eagles came away from the indoor season with a pair of all-Americans, Lauren Attiah in the triple jump and Brittany Donino in the 55-meter hurdles.

At last year’s Emory Invitational, the Emory men scored 124.50 points to finish second out of 17 teams, while the women notched 99 points to claim third out of 19 teams.
