Emory University’s Ben Euwer won the shot put and finished second in the weight throw, while competing at the Tiger Indoor Invitational.  Euwer won the shot put with a throw of 13.46 meters, the third-best mark in the University Athletic Association (UAA) this season, just one week removed from recording the best throw of the season by a UAA competitor in the shot put.  The sophomore also set a career-best mark in the weight throw for the second-consecutive week, finishing second in the event with a distance of 13.25 meters.  Euwer rounded out the meet with a career-best time of 7.07 seconds in the 55-meter dash, good for an 11^th-place finish.
