Emory University sophomore Tony Lombardo broke the school’s outdoor pole vault record during the Emory Classic last weekend. Lombardo won the event at the meet, clearing a height of 4.60 meters to break Mark Kleinkopf’s previous school-record vault of 4.57 meters, set during the 1985 season. Lombardo scored 10 points for the Eagles with win in the pole vault, helping Emory finish second at the meet.
