Emory University freshman Patrick Crews scored in three events at the Emory Classic last weekend. Crews finished third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.01, the second-best mark by a UAA runner this season. He also claimed a second-place finish as the anchor leg of the Eagles’ 4x800-meter relay team, recording a time of 7:51.34, the sixth-fastest mark in school history. Crews rounded out the meet as the first leg of Emory’s seventh-place 4x400-meter relay team, finishing with a mark of 3:31.19. Crews accounted for 8.5 points during the meet, helping the Eagles win the Emory Classic.
