Emory University senior Ben Euwer scored in four throwing events during the Emory Classic last weekend. Euwer won the shot put with a distance of 13.58 meters, the ninth-best mark in school history. He recorded season-best marks in each of the discus throw and the hammer throw, recording a mark of 39.56 meters with a second-place finish in the former, and a fourth-place finish with a distance of 47.09 meters in the latter. Euwer rounded out the meet with a javelin throw of 49.11 meters, finishing third in the event. He scored 30 points for the Eagles during the meet, helping Emory to a team victory.
