The Eagles wrapped up their 2012 home-meet season on Saturday with the Emory Track and Field Classic, with both the Emory men and women claiming the top spot in the team standings.

The Emory women scored 216 points to claim a dominating victory over second-place Oberlin (114) and third-place Columbus State (103).  Emory's men finished the meet with 170 points, claiming a victory over second-place Oberlin (104) and third-place Chattahoochee Tech (102).

The Emory women's 4x800-meter relay team broke the school record in the event for the second-straight week, as Emily Caesar, Stephanie Crane, Marissa Gogniat and Calley Edwards won the event with a time of 9:19.25.

Emory also received a strong performance from its 4x400-meter relay team of Debora Adjibaba, Lauren Attiah, Kaele Leonard and Alix Dyer, which won the event with a time of 3:53.93, both the second-fastest time in school history and the second-best mark among Division III teams this season.

Dyer added a win in the 400-meter dash with a mark of 57.51 seconds, the second-best D-III mark this year and fourth in school history, while Adjibaba's time of 58.10 seconds in the event ranks fifth in Division III this year.  Jasmine McCullough added a first-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.11 seconds (13th in D-III), while Tess Gallegos claimed a win in the 3,000-meter run (10:31.73), and Nawoo Kim won the pole vault by clearing a height of 3.03 meters.

Ian Francis won a pair of events for the Emory men, claiming victories in the long jump (6.78 meters) and triple jump (13.99 meters).  Ben Euwer added a win in the shot put with a toss of 13.58 meters.

Tyler Cooke finished fifth in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:08.75, the seventh-fastest in school history.  The Eagles' 4x800-meter relay team of Patrick Crews, Kevin Delaney, William Matheson and Stephen Ellwood finished second with a time of 7:51.34, the sixth-fastest in the history of the program.

Emory will return to action next weekend at a pair of meets, taking part in the Tiger Track Classic at Auburn University and the Duke Invitational at Duke University on Friday and Saturday.
