Emory University freshman Maxwell Hoberman was Emory’s top finisher in two events at the Emory Invitational last weekend.  Hoberman finished third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.38 seconds, the fastest mark this season by a University Athletic Association (UAA) competitor.  He also claimed a 13^th-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.05 seconds, second among all UAA runners this year.  Hoberman rounded out the meet by running the anchor leg of the Eagles’ 4x400-meter relay, which finished fifth with a time of 3:24.85.  The freshman accounted for seven points for Emory, helping the team to a sixth-place finish out of 19 teams.
