Emory University freshman Jacob Seigel was the Eagles’ top finisher in two throwing events at the Terrier Relays in Spartanburg, South Carolina last weekend.  Seigel was the top Division III finisher and seventh overall in the discus throw, recording a distance of 44.02 meters, tied for the seventh-best mark in the event in school history.  The throw also ranks third among University Athletic Association (UAA) competitors this season.  He was the top Division III finisher in the shot put as well, recording a throw of 12.18 meters to place 16^th overall.
