Emory Track & Field to Resume Outdoor Season with First Road Meets

The Emory University Outdoor Track and Field team will look to continue its early season momentum after a pair of successful home meets the previous two weekends, splitting the squad between the Duke Invitational and the Terrier Relays.

The Duke Invitational, hosted by Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, will take place on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th.  With entry restrictions at the meet, the Eagles will be sending a limited squad of its top competitors to the meet.  Action will begin on Friday with the field events at noon and the track events at 3:30 PM.  On Saturday, competition in the field events will start at 9:00 AM, with the track events beginning at 10:00 AM.  The meet is scheduled to conclude at 6:00 PM on Saturday.

The majority of Emory's squad will head to the Terrier Relays, hosted by Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina at Spartanburg High School on Saturday.  The meet is slated for a 9:00 AM start for the field events, and a 10:30 AM start for the track events.  The final event of the meet will start at 4:00 PM.

Results and a recap of both meets will be posted to EmoryAthletics.com following the completion of competition on Saturday.
