The Emory University Track and Field team will have a limited portion of the squad in action on Saturday, as the Eagles begin their final preparations for next weekend's University Athletic Association (UAA) Outdoor Championships.

Emory is slated to send just one runner to the Auburn War Eagle Invitational on Saturday, April 20^th in Auburn, Alabama, as junior Morgan Monroe will compete in both the 100-meter dash and 100-meter hurdles. 

The Eagles will also send a contingent of athletes to the Mountain Laurel Invitational at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee on Saturday, April 20^th.  Events at the meet are scheduled for a 9:00 AM start.

In news away from competition, the Emory women's squad moved up nine spots in the USTFCCCA Outdoor Track and Field rankings, and now stands at 10^th in Division III.  The women also held onto the top-ranked in the South/Southeast Region rankings, while the Emory men remained in ninth in the region.
