Emory University senior Alex Fleischhacker was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the 5,000-meter run at the VertKlasse Meeting in High Point, NC last weekend. Fleischhacker finished third overall with a time of 15:09.95 in the event. The mark was just under a 10-second improvement of his previous outdoor career-best time in the event, and ranks as the seventh-fastest time by a University Athletic Association (UAA) runner and the 47th-best time among all Division III competitors this season.
