Emory University sophomore Maxwell Hoberman notched his second-best distance of the year in the triple jump, while in action at the UCS Invitational, hosted by the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, NC on Saturday.  Hoberman’s jump of 13.93 meters was good for third-place at the meet, and just three centimeters shy of his best of the season, which ranks as the top mark in the University Athletic Association (UAA) in 2014.  He added a 28^th-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 6.06 meters.  Hoberman was also Emory’s top finisher in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.25 seconds, finishing 22^nd at the meet, and ran the leadoff leg of the Eagles’ 4x400-meter relay, which finished seventh in a time of 3:24.76, the fastest time in the UAA this year.
