Track & Field to Resume Season with Three Meets

After a week off following the 2014 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships, the Emory University Track and Field team will return to action this week, participating in three meets over a five-day stretch.

With the conference championships now behind them, the Eagles will be focus on improving on their qualifying marks for the 2014 NCAA Championships at the end of the month.

First up for the Eagles will be the Dr. Keeler Invitational, hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Illinois on Thursday, May 8th and Friday, May 9th.  Emory is slated to send its largest group of the week to the meet, including seniors Morgan Monroe, Meredith Lorch, and Emily Caesar, juniors Electra Korn, Debora Adjibaba, and Stephanie Crane, sophomore Julie Williamson, freshman Harley Barrera, and freshman Christian Johnson.

On Saturday, May 10th, the Eagles will send three of their throwers – juniors Ulrica Tull and James Bassen, and sophomore Jacob Seigel – to the Georgia Invitational, hosted by the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.

After a day off on Sunday, Emory will have its men's 4x400-meter relay team of junior Gui Silva, junior Zachary Rosenberg, sophomore Maxwell Hoberman and sophomore Adam Rabushka to the Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio (the site of the 2014 NCAA Championships) to compete at the Ron Althoff Invitational on Monday, May 12th.
