The Emory University track & field teams sent nine combined athletes to the Aggie Last Chance Meet at North Carolina A&T on Sunday afternoon in Greensboro, NC to try and improve their times before the NCAA Division III Championships at the end of the month.

On the women’s side, freshman Dani Bland posted the top time of the afternoon in the 100m Dash (12.32) with classmate Dilys Osei registering the fastest mark in the 200m Dash at 25.57. In the 400m Dash, sophomore Erica Goldman led the Eagles, clocking in with a time of 56.57. Bland, Osei were also featured in Emory’s lone relay team at the meet, the 4x100m, along with sophomore Julia Leventhal and senior Alexandra Aiello. The foursome finished the event with a time of 47.98.

For the men, sophomore Daniel Pietsch led Emory in both the 200m and 400m events, running a time of 21.81 and 47.64, respectively. Junior Ian McIsaac also took part in both events, recording a 200m time of 23.12 and a mark of 50.08 in the 400m.
