Emory University freshman Brett Henshey was named the University Athletic Association Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, marking the first career honor for the West Grove, PA native.

Henshey shined for the Eagles at the UAB Vulcan Invitational on Saturday, recording a personal-best mark of 2.00m to finish third in the High Jump. His mark moved him into first in the UAA and seventh nationally in the event as well as tied for fifth-best on the school's all-time list.

The Eagles return to Birmingham, AL this Sunday with the annual Emory Crossplex Invitational. More information regarding the meet will be posted later this week.
