Senior Dawit Dean put his name in the Emory record books this weekend at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic hosted by Lynchburg University. Dean broke the program record in the 800m with a time of 1:49.25 good for a second place finish. His teammate Spencer Watry had just set the program record the week before. Dean's time ranks third in the Division and first in the UAA this season. On Friday, Dean also competed in the 4x400m helping the group win the events with a mark of 3:15.61 which ranks 15th in the nation and first in the UAA.
