Ashley DeMarco joined the Emory Track and Field coaching staff prior to the start of the 2007-08 school year, following a successful collegiate career with the Eagles.

DeMarco was a four-time letter-winner for the Emory Track and Field team.  Serving as the team's captain during her senior season, she earned All-America honors in the heptathlon and finished her career as the school-record holder in the event.  DeMarco ended her Emory career as a three-time University Athletic Association (UAA) Champion, and was the 2007 Bridges Award winner, presented annually to Emory's best all-around athlete. 

In addition to her athletic accomplishments, DeMarco was a two-time nominee for an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, and a four time UAA All-Academic honoree.

Ashley is a 2007 graduate of Emory University, majoring in English as an undergraduate student.  She will serve as the throws coach for the Eagles during the Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field seasons.
