Senior (2009)
Solid final season that saw him land All-America honors
for the second straight year following his 12th-place finish out of
276 runners at the NCAA Division III Championships with a time of
25:46 ... His effort at nationals enabled him to become just the
third cross country runner in school history to capture All-America
accalaim twice and the first since Dave Laub (1986 and 1987) ...
Took part in six competitions and was among the squad's top three
performers in each race ... Claimed All-South/Southeast Region
honors after pacing the Emory pack and placing third out of 174
runners at the NCAA Regional Championships with a time of 26:38 ...
Captured All-UAA First Team honors after clocking in with an 8k
time of 26:20, good for the top spot on the squad and third overall
out of 80 contestants ... Was named the Eagles' MVP ... Member of

Junior (2008): Became Emory's first cross country
All-American since 2003 when he crossed the finish line in 18th
place out of 278 runners at the NCAA Championships with a

... Was among the team's top two finishers in all seven of his
competitions ... Landed all-region kudos after pacing the Eagles
and finishing fourth out of 152 entries at the NCAA South/Southeast
Championships ... Named UAA Runner of the Week after leading the
Emory pack and finishing 23rd out of 213 at the Auburn Invitational
(Oct. 4) ... Earned First Team All-UAA honors after a seventh-place
finish (25:57) ... Team's No. 1 performer and ended up in fifth
place out of 307 entries at the Griak Invitational.
Sophomore (2007): Took to the course in six
competitions ... One of the Eagles' most consistent performers,
ranking among the squad's top five finishers in each outing ...
Ranked third on the team in wins and posted a record of 687-280 ...
Brought home all-region honors following his 16th-place finish out
of 170 runners at the NCAA South/Southeast Region Championships
(26:41) ... Was the No. 2 Eagle to cross the finish line and 28th
out of 91 entries at the Bulldog Stampede (Sept. 22) with a time of
26:57 ... Was the No. 2 Emory finisher at the NCAA Championships
with a career-best 26:13.
Freshman (2006): Competed in three meets ... No. 1
Emory runner and was second overall in the 111-runner field at the
Georgia Collegiate Championship (Sept. 30) with a season-best 8K
time of 27:21 ... Also saw action at the Sewanee Invitational
(Sept. 2), where he was the No. 6 Emory performer and 38th overall
out of 152 (28:17), and the Crimson Classic (Sept. 15).
Prior to Emory: Competed for Wellesley High School
where Jamie Chisum was his coach ... Best time in the 5K was 16:40
while his best showing in the mile was 4:29.
