The Emory University men's and women's country teams return to
action on Saturday (Oct. 30) when they compete at the
24th Annual University Athletic Association Cross

Cortland Park and hosted by New York University. The men's 8K
race begins at 10:30 a.m., and will be followed by the women's 6k

The Eagles' women's team is ranked 26th nationally and

nation’s top 35. The University of Chicago is slotted
as the No. 7 squad on the national scene while Case Western Reserve
is ranked 15th. Defending champion Washington
University holds down the No. 16 position in the polls and host NYU

leading the team and coming in 11th overall.
The UAA boasts six men’s teams among the top 35 in the
nation, headed by four-time defending conference champ NYU at No.

while Carnegie Mellon is 24th. Rounding out the
ranked UAA squads include Brandeis (25th), Rochester

graduated Charlie Meade and Paul Winterhalter capturing First Team
All-UAA acclaim and fellow graduate Tommy Fyffe earning second-team
acclaim.
