Was the first Emory runner to cross the finish line and placed 42nd overall out of 309 runners with a career-best effort of 26:45 at the Southeast Classic ... Was part of the Emory contingent that competed at the UAA Championships ... Also took part in the Sewanee Invitational and the Berry College Invitational.

Junior (2010):
Ran in five meets ... Registered a career-best 8K time of 27:29 at the Royal Cross Country Challenge ... Was one of Emory's runners at the UAA Championships, recording a time of 28:58 that represented his second-best time  ... No. 3 Eagle to finish and 39th overall at the JSU Foothills Invitational (29:48) ... Also competed at the Sewanee Invitational and the Berry College Invitational.

Sophomore (2009):
Did not take part in any competitions.

Freshman (2008):
Took part in the Sewanee Invitational (Sept. 6), The Vanderbilt Invitational (Sept. 20) and the 5K Front Runner Invitational (Oct. 18) ... Top 8K time was 29:27 at the Vandy meet.

Prior to Emory:
Earned three letters in cross country and track at George Walton High School ... Was coached by Tom Williams ... Best 5000 meters mark was 16:42 as a senior ... Was chosen as the cross country and track team's Most Improved Performer in 2006 and 2007 ... Was a member of his high school's swimming and diving program.

Personal: Born Jan. 30, 1990 ... Recipient of various community service awards for his work with Habitat For Humanity.
