The Emory University men's and women's cross country teams return to action this Saturday (Sept. 22) when they compete at the Gulf Coast Stampede. The meet will be held at the Escambia County Equestrian Center in Pensacola, Florida. The women's 5K competition begins at 7:30 p.m. (CDT) while the men start their 8K competition at 8:00 a.m.
The Stampede, hosted by the University of West Florida, will feature a number of Division I and II programs including South Alabama, the University of Tampa, Jacksonville State and Alabama State.
Emory last hit the trail on Sept. 8 when both teams posted runner-up finishes at the Georgia State Invitational at the Nash Farm Battlefield in Hampton, Ga.
