Freshman (2016):
Took part in for meets ... Top 8k performance with a 26:51 at the Falcon Classic that placed him 42nd out of 136 runners ... Among the Emory contingent that raced at the Inter-Regional Border Battle in New Jersey, finishing with a mark of 26:56 ... Also hit the course in the season-opening Watermelon Run (28:42) and the Furman Classic (27:06). 

High School:
Three-time letterwinner in both cross country and track and field at Huntley High School ... Was coached by Matt Kaplan ... Served as co-captain during his junior and senior seasons ... Honorable Mention All-Area in cross country his senior year as chosen by the Northwest Herald ...  Qualified to run in the state cross country championship ... Second Team all-area as a junior ... Top three-mile time was 15:00 ... Clocked a 4:24 in the 1,600 meters ... Top 800-meters time was a 2:00 ... Helped Huntley HS to a cross country regional championships and the track squad to a sectional crown ... Also played on the basketball and golf teams as a prep.
