Ran to Second Team All-UAA honors following his team-leading 12th-place finish at the conference championships with a mark of 25:42, his second-best time at Emory ... Named the UAA runner of the Week after posting a personal-best 8K time of 25:38, good for the top spot on the team and second overall out of 58 entries, at the JSU Foothills Invitational ... Earned all-region honors after ranking ninth overall (second on the team) out of 201 runners at the NCAA South/Southeast Championships ... Brought home all-region acclaim after pacing the team and ranking 14th overall out of 160 runners at the NCAA South/Southeast Championships with an 8K time of 26:30 ... Helped the Eagles to a first-place effort at the Gulf Coast Stampede by pacing the team's pack and registering a fourth-place peformance out of 93 entries with an 8K time of 26:31 ...  Team's No. 2 runner and 36th in a field of 376 contestants at the Gibson Family Pre-Nationals with an 8K shwoing of 26:18 ... Top 8K outing was a 26:11 at the UAA Championships.

Earned three varsity letters in cross country and one in track at Marion High School ... Was coached as a prep by Scott Immerfall and Matt Thornton ...
