Thirteen Eagles have earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors while both the men's and women's teams were named to the All-Academic Team as announced by the USTFCCCA last Thursday.
Student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent of their regional championship meet. The team must hold a GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.
David Evans, Brett Lucas, Scott Masterson, Spencer Moore, Andrew Pahnke, Justin Pecore, and Ethan Thompson were named Men's Cross Country All-Academic Athletes. As a team, the Eagles finished with a 3.777 GPA earning them All-Academic Team honors with the second highest GPA amongst Division III teams.
Jenna Daly, Claire Hu, Helena Kummings, Luna McCauley, Liesl Scherrer, and Annika Urban were awarded All-Academic honors and the Women's team tallied a 3.614 GPA earning them team All-Academic honors.
320 men from 119 different institutions were named All-Academic Athletes while 383 women from 137 different institutions were given honors. On the team side, 189 programs received honors for the men and 212 programs for the women.
