A word to describe me on the field:  Tough

A word to describe me off the field:   Quiet

My most memorable athletic moment was: Winning the College World Series freshman year

My most memorable Emory athletic moment: This is my first season at Emory, so I'm going to hold off on my most memorable moment for Salem.

What I like most about Emory:  The beautiful campus. You don't see this kind of landscape in Arizona.

The best thing about being part of the Emory Softball Team is: The fifteen other girls on the field that fight right along side me

My favorite place on the Emory campus:  Cox Computer Center, that place is pretty neat.

Favorite pro athlete:  Grady Sizemore

The sports teams I followed when I was younger:  Oakland A's

Favorite Sporting Event to Watch:  Baseball

My favorite class at Emory and why:  Social Psychology because it is pretty interesting to have the reason for your actions and behaviors reflected to you.

The people who have helped me most at Emory are and why: The unbelievable coaching staff, my teammates, and my roommate Jenn. They have had a huge role in making my transfer smooth and enjoyable.

Any pre-game rituals:  In the bullpen before the game, I always warm up my pitches in the same order.

The sport I would be playing if I wasn't playing softball: I've always wanted to play tennis

Ten years from now I see myself: Wishing I was ten years younger

If I could have dinner with only three people in history, they would be: Roald Dahl, Walt Disney, and Luci Barceló

The best advice I have ever been given and who gave it to you:  "Hard work beats talent if talent doesn't work hard"- My Dad

What is something that very few, if any, people know about you:  I'm scared of the dark!

A word to describe me off the field: Energetic

A memorable athletic moment was: My senior spring, after coming back from knee surgery, I hit the game winning single against our schools arch-rival.

What I like most about Emory: The thing that I like most about Emory is the amazing opportunities it presents for its students. No matter what you are interested in, there is always a place to pursue that interest.                  

I would like to switch places for the day with: A professional athlete because I would love to know what it feels like to play in front of thousands of people in a professional stadium.

The best thing about being part of the Emory Softball Team is: My teammates, coaches, and being part of a family.

My favorite place on the Emory campus: Glenn Memorial Church. Last year  I saw the Nine Lessons and Carols show in it and it was done by candle light, it was absolutely gorgeous.

Favorite pro athlete: Derek Jeter        

The sports teams I followed when I was younger: Yankees, Braves, Patriots, Notre Dame Football

Favorite Sporting Event to Watch: Professional baseball and college football

The people who have helped me most at Emory are and why: Coach Siqueiros because she is there for me both on and off the field and not only gives me advice on how to become a better softball player, but on how to become a better person.

Any pre-game rituals:   I always put on my uniform the same way and always throw with the same person during warm up.

The sport I would be playing if I wasn't playing softball: If I wasn't playing softball I would play tennis.

Ten years from now I see myself: Ten years from now I see myself as being an orthopaedic surgeon, being married, and living somewhere in the southeast.          

If I could have dinner with only three people in history, they would be: Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo daVinci, and Joan of Arc

The best advice I have ever been given and who gave it to you: The best advice I was ever given was from my mom and she told me to believe in myself and to do what makes me happy.

What is something that very few, if any, people know about you: I used to play the flute.

My most memorable athletic moment was: Helping my travel team get third place at Nationals in summer of 2006.

My most memorable Emory athletic moment: It's not a particular moment, but just having the support and confidence of my coaches, teammates, and my parents to start at a position I have had little experience with.

What I like most about Emory: The manageable size makes it easy to run into friends and familiar faces in every part of campus, which makes Emory feel like home.

I would like to switch places for the day with: Emma Watson so I could pretend to live in the magical world of Harry Potter.

The best thing about being part of the Emory Softball Team is: Having teammates that will always be by your side especially when overcoming obstacles on and off the field.

My favorite place on the Emory campus: Clairmont Pool

Favorite Sporting Event to Watch: College football

My favorite class at Emory and why: Comparative Education because it makes you aware of the political processes of different countries and how these processes influence their educational systems. We also have guest speakers from different countries who give us firsthand accounts of their educational experiences.

The people who have helped me most at Emory are and why: My friends and my teammates because they always remind me that things will work themselves out as long as I work hard and do everything I can to succeed in whatever I do.

Any pre-game rituals: Say a prayer during the national anthem 

The sport I would be playing if I wasn't playing softball: Volleyball

Ten years from now I see myself: Married and working for an advertising agency.
