Held down the starting spot at shortstop ... Started all 38 of the games she saw action in and ended the campaign hitting .271 (29-for-107) ... Post six multi-hit contests ... Went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs and runs scored in a 14-4 win over Hendrix College (Feb. 27) ... High school coach was Jeff Shephard from her freshman through junior seasons and Meredith McAlister her senior campaign ... Hit .366 as a senior en route to earning a spot on the Capital Gazette Newspapers All-County Team ... Tabbed as a 2008 "Player To Watch" by the Baltimore Sun ... As a junior, she helped her team to the 3A East Region semifinals ... Was on county and regional championship squads as a sophomore ... Played summer ball for the Maryland Hornets Gold Team and was on the 2006 16-U state championship team.
