Construction Of Emory Softball Cages Underway

Construction Of Emory Softball Cages Underway

An important enhancement for the Emory softball program has begun with the construction of batting cages beyond the center field fence.  The project will continue for the rest of the summer with a scheduled completion date of early September.

The addition of the cages to the Emory Softball Field will allow team members to work on their swings year round no matter what the weather conditions.

"We are certainly excited to have begun the construction of the batting cages," said Emory head softball coach Penny Siqueiros.  "To be able to have a facility like this for our players to workout in will certainly pay dividends in terms of performance.  We are appreciative of all the support we have received for this project which will certainly upgrade the softball complex and help maintain its reputation as one of the best in the nation."
