The Emory softball program was announced as one of 16 host sites for the opening rounds of the 2014 NCAA Division III Tournament. 

The Eagles, 36-7 on the year, will host the four-team regional with their opening contest coming against  Agnes Scott College (23-20) on Friday starting at 3:30 pm, while Piedmont College (41-6) will take on Lynchburg (30-14) in the other opening-day match-up.

The double-elimination tournament continues on Saturday with three games on the docket with action slated to begin at 11:00 am.  At least one game will be played on Sunday at 11:00 am with another scheduled for 2:30 pm if necessary.

Friday, May 9
Game 1 -- Piedmont vs. Lynchburg (1:00 pm)
Game 2 -- Agnes Scott vs. Emory (3:30 pm)

Saturday, May 10
Game 3 -- Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2 (11:00 am)
Game 4 -- Loser of Game 1 vs. Loser of Game 2 (1:30 pm)
Game 5 -- Winner of Game 4 vs. Loser of Game 3  (4:00 pm)

Sunday
Game 6 -- Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 5 (Noon)
Game 7 -- if necessary, 2:30 pm
