Sophomore Ella Hoyle was a powerhouse for the Eagles this weekend as they split their series against Carnegie Mellon in the UAA opening series. Hoyle finished the weekend going 7-13 for a .538 average and posted four extra base hits including three doubles. She totaled 11 RBI through four games while posting six RBI in game three of the series. Hoyle recorded a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .563 on base percentage and was intentionally walked twice on Saturday.
