Sophomore Hannah Lilly guided the Eagles to a
pair of victories in three outings, averaging a team-high 20.3
points per game while also grabbing 4.0 rebounds per stint.
Lilly connected on 25-of-45 from the floor, including eight-of-15
from three-point range as Emory closed out the week with a 5-2
record. In a 98-70 triumph over Sewanee, the 5-foot-8 Lilly
torched the Tigers for a career-high 26 points, knocking down
12-of-19 from the field, while also doling out a career-high seven
assists. Her point total in the Sewanee contest tied the
14th-highest individual game total in school
annals. She then turned in a 16-point performance in an 84-57
triumph over Spelman, sinking six-of-13 from the field including
three-of-five from three-point range. Finally, she produced a
team-high 19 points, going seven-of-13 from the floor, including
three-of-six from beyond the arc, as Emory fell short at Piedmont
College by an 81-72 count.
On the year, Lilly is averaging 15.7 points, second highest on the
squad, and 3.9 rebounds per game.
