Claire Brock Tabbed to d3hoops.com All-Region Second Team

Emory University women's basketball senior guard Claire Brock was named to the d3hoops.com Region 6 Second Team for the second straight year as announced by the organization Tuesday morning.

Brock becomes the third Eagle in program history to be named an All-Region selection for a second time by d3hoops.com, joining Hannah Lilly (2011 & 2012) and Ashley Oldshue (2018 & 2019), and the honor comes following Brock's selection to the All-UAA Second Team last month.

Brock led the Eagles in scoring for the second consecutive season, finishing the year with a 16.5 points per game clip after posting double-digit scoring totals in 19 of 25 games, including back-to-back career-high efforts of 33 and 34 points in wins over Colorado College and LaGrange in November. Brock finished fifth among all UAA scorers in PPG and ranked amongst the best in the conference in field goal percentage (44.1%, 11th), three-point percentage (35.9%, 9th) and free throw percentage (86.2%, 2nd) with her free throw percentage also standing as the 19th best mark in the nation. She earned national recognition for the first time this season, being tabbed to her first-ever d3hoops.com National Team of the Week in November and was a two-time UAA Athlete of the Week.

Brock led the Eagles to the postseason for the first time since the 2018-19 season as Emory finished the season with a 17-8 overall record.
