Emory sophomore Hannah Lilly busted loose for a career-high 27 points and tied the school's single-game individual record with seven three-point field goals in leading the Eagles to a victory over Agnes Scott College.  The Eagles upped their overall record to 6-2 following a 61-45 victory over the Scotties.

Lilly's seven triples made her just the third player in school annals to reach that total in an Emory contest, joining Amy Carter and Mandy Jackson in that exclusive club.  The 5-foot-8 Lilly put on a shooting clinic, knocking down 10-of-13 from the field including seven-of-eight from beyond the arc with her 87.5 percentage from distance establishing a school record (six or more made).

Lilly scored 17 points during the second half of play, helping the Eagles to a 32-17 scoring advantage.  With Emory holding a slim 36-34 lead with 11:07 left in the game, Lilly scored 12 straight points, unleashing four consecutive treys as part of an overall 14-0 Eagle explosion that blew the game wide open at 50-34 with 6:57 remaining.

Lilly  would enjoy an outstanding campaign that culminated with her earning Honorable Mention All-America honors as chosen by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, the first Emory player since 1998 to garner any sort of All-America acclaim.  She captured First Team All-UAA honors after pacing the league in scoring in both overall (17.2 ppg) and conference (17.1 pgg) play, totaling double-figure scoring on 22 occasions.

Emory ended the 2011-12 year with an overall record of 18-7.

Note:  In November of 2013, Lilly would set the school record for triples in a game with nine which came against LaGrange College.  He record would stand for five years until Allison Chernow tied it with nine makes from distance against Transylvania (Nov. 24, 2018).
