favorite show, but I watch the Discovery Channel a lot. I also
watch those lame mid-afternoon MTV shows like Next and Parental

My most memorable athletic moment was: The first
goal I scored for my high school team against our arch-rivals.
My most memorable Emory athletic moment: A
defensive play I made against Brandeis my freshman year. It was a
really hard 50/50 tackle and I came out with the ball and started a
counter-attack. It was one of those huge adrenaline rushes.
What I like most about Emory: People at Emory work
hard and play hard - it's the best of both worlds.
I would like to switch places for the day with: My
dog. My only responsibilities would be eating, sleeping, and
playing in the snow.
My favorite place on the Emory campus: The back
patio of the Woodruff Library. It's a great place to study or have
lunch, and you can see the stars perfectly at night.
Favorite pro athlete: Lance Armstrong

Denver Broncos, US Women's Soccer Team, Manchester United
My favorite class at Emory and why: HIST 365 - The
History of Slavery with Dr. David Eltis. This class changed my
entire view of world history, ethics and modern society. Every day
in class was an epiphany, a new moral dilemma, a different way of
looking at history. Dr. Eltis was fantastic - it was amazing to get
the opportunity to discuss history with one of the world's leading
experts as an undergraduate.
The people who have helped me most at Emory are and
why: All my friends because they have been by my side
through all the ups and downs of college. My neurobiology
professor, Dr. Ron Calabrese, because he has pushed me to
investigate so many academic opportunities and really cares about
my experience here at Emory. And of course the soccer team, because
they are the people I look forward to seeing every day and give me
a release from the stresses of school and life.
Any pre-game rituals: I always put my left
cleat and shinguard on before the right...I don't really know where
that came from but I never play well if I do it the other way.
Also, I always have to strap into my headgear!
