Sophomore (2010):

Kruse appeared in nine games off the bench for Emory during her sophomore season.  She converted a key penalty kick for Emory during the Eagles' 9-8 shootout victory over Wheaton College (Ill.), helping the team advance to NCAA Tournament quarterfinals.  During the season, she took two shots, one of which was on goal.  Kruse also contributed to the Emory defense that recorded a 0.56 goals-against average, the 23rd-lowest mark among NCAA Division III teams during the year. Opponents averaged just 4.1 shots on goal per game against the Eagles' defense, including 11 games of three shots on goal or less.

Freshman (2009):

Kruse played in 14 games during her freshman season, making three starts.  She finished the campaign with one goal and one assist for three points.  Kruse's goal came on September 26th during the Eagles' 3-0 win over Guilford College.  She also assisted on a goal during Emory's 4-2 loss to Brandeis University on October 18th.  Kruse took 10 shots during the season, five of which were on goal.

Played on the Glen Ridge High School soccer team for four seasons, serving as the captain during her senior year... Scored 47 goals and recorded 49 assists during her four-year high school career... Earned New Jersey Girls Soccer Coaches Association All-State honors from 2006-08... Named to the all-conference first team from 2007-08 and to the all-Essex County and all-area teams from 2005-08... Helped her team to the finals of the state tournament in 2007... Coached by Oscar Viteri in high school... Played for the TSF Gunners club team, where she was coached by Mark White...
