The Emory University women's soccer team will look to extend
their three-match winning streak and seven-match undefeated streak
on Wednesday night, as the Eagles will host Spelman College at 7:00
PM.
The Eagles have gone 4-0-3 over their past seven contests,
improving to 4-1-3 overall, and are undefeated against Division III
teams this season. Emory is coming off a 3-0 win over
Guilford College on Saturday, which raised its record to 1-0-2 at
home.
Spelman is 2-5-0 this season, including a 2-1-0 mark in road
contests. The Jaguars picked up a 3-0 victory over Wesleyan
College on Monday night.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams in the history
of the programs.
Emory Notes:
Emily Rubin was named the University Athletic
Association (UAA) Women's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for
her performance during Emory's two games last week... The junior

corner kicks, to lead the Eagles in scoring... Junior
Meghan McMahon also scored her third goal of the
season against Guilford, and is tied with Rubin for the team lead
in points and goals... Senior Talia Dweck leads
the team with five assists this season, including two off corner
kicks in Emory's win over Guilford... The Eagles have now outscored
their opponents 15-5 during their seven-match undefeated streak,
