Emory University senior midfielder Sara Belsole recorded the first hat trick by an Eagle in over three years during the team’s win over Agnes Scott College on Wednesday.  Belsole scored two goals within a minute of each other in the first half of the contest, starting at the 30:30 mark.  She added on her third goal of the contest in the54th minute of play, scoring unassisted on a breakaway.  All four of Belsole’s shots during the game were on goal during the Eagles’ 7-0 win.  She also took four shots, including two on goal, during the Eagles’ 3-1 win over Maryville College on Sunday.  Belsole is Emory’s leading scorer with four goals and two assists for 10 points this season, helping the 17^th-ranked Eagles to an 8-0-1 start to the season.
