Emory University freshman Kelly Costopoulos came off the bench to score two goals and assist on another over two University Athletic Association (UAA) games last weekend. Costopoulos scored both of the goals during Emory’s 2-0 win over 23rd-ranked Brandeis University on Sunday afternoon. On Friday, the midfielder picked up her first collegiate assist on the game-winning goal during the Eagles’ 2-0 win over New York University. During her inaugural campaign, Costopoulos has scored three goals and assisted on another for seven points. Her play has helped the 15th-ranked Eagles to an 11-1-2 record, including a 2-1-1 mark in UAA games.
