Emory University freshman Veronica Romero recorded the game-winning goal during the eighth-ranked Eagles’ 2-0 victory over Berry College on Saturday.  Romero broke a scoreless tie in the 82^nd minute, scoring her second goal of the season to lead the Eagles to victory.  Both of the forward/midfielder’s goals this season have been game winners, tying her for the most on the team this season.  Romero has also added on four assists for the campaign, the second most by an Eagle, and is second among all Emory freshman with eight points.  Her play has helped the Eagles to a 12-1-2 record in 2010.
