Emory University sophomore Erica Stein did not allow a goal in three games for the Eagles last week. Stein played the first half of each of Emory’s games against Oglethorpe University, New York University and Brandeis University, going 2-0-0 with three saves during the week. The goalkeeper made two saves during the first half of the Eagles’ 2-0 win over Brandeis on Sunday. On Wednesday, she made one save during her scoreless half against Oglethorpe. Stein has a perfect 4-0-0 record with a 0.56 goals-against average this season, and has been a part of six shutouts this season. Her performance during the year has led 15th-ranked Emory to an 11-1-2 overall record and a 2-1-1 mark in conference play.
