Emily Feldman

Emily Feldman

Emory University sophomore Emily Feldman contributed to all three of the Eagles’ goals during a pair of opening-weekend overtime wins.  During the team’s season-opening 2-1 win over top-ranked Messiah College (the second-ranked defense in Division III last season), Feldman assisted on the first goal of the game, and set up the game-winning penalty kick in overtime by drawing a foul inside the box on a breakaway.  The next day, she led the Eagles to a 1-0 double-overtime win over Franklin and Marshall College, scoring the game’s ‘golden goal’ with just two minutes left to play.  After tying for the team lead with 20 points (seven goals and six assists) in 2011, the forward currently leads all Eagles with three points through two games this season.  Feldman’s contributions have helped the sixth-ranked Eagles to a 2-0-0 start, and extend their regular-season undefeated streak to 26 games.
