Emory University sophomore Kaelyn Lucas came off the bench in both of the Eagles games last weekend, holding opponents scoreless on just one shot during her time on the field.  Lucas played 84 minutes and 21 seconds of the Eagles’ 9-0 win over the University of the South, limiting the Tigers to just one shot on goal while she was on the field.  During the outside back’s 77 minutes and 42 seconds played against Roanoke, she helped hold the Maroons without a shot on goal during her time on the pitch.  This season, Lucas has contributed to the Eagles’ 0.60 team goals against average, coming off the bench in all six games.  The Eagles, ranked second in Division III, have opened the season with a 4-0-2 record.
