Freshman (2012):

Peterson played in 20 games off the bench during her freshman season.  She assisted on two goals during the season, including the game-winning goal in overtime during the team's 1-0 win against Franklin and Marshall College on September 2nd.  The defender also helped the team record a .461 goals-against average, the 13th-best mark in Division III, and a 0.583 shutout percentage, the 30th-best mark in the country.  Peterson and the Eagles defense held opponents to 7.1 shots and 3.6 shots on goal per game.  Peterson took seven shots during the year, two of which were on goal.

Prior to Emory:

Played on the Clear Lake High School soccer team for four seasons, serving as a team co-captain during her senior year... Named to the All-State Second Team and All-District First Team... Garnered her team's All-Around Most Valuable Player award in 2012... Coached by Andy Gaworecki in high school... Played club soccer for the Albion Hurricanes, where she was coached by Russell Gee... Helped her team win the Premier League Championship, and reach the finals of the regionals.
