Sophomore (2012):

Butker was a key playmaker for the Emory offense during her sophomore season, leading all Eagles with 10 assists and 20 points during the year.  Her assist total during the year was tied for the fourth-best in the program's history, and just two shy of the single-season record, in addition to ranking 42nd among Division III players in 2012.  Butker also ended the year ranked 101st in the country with 0.43 assists per game.  She added five goals of her own during the year, finishing tied for ninth in the University Athletic Association (UAA) in points, and tied for first in the conference in total assists.  Starting 21 of the 23 games she played in during the season, Butker registered a pair of game-winning goals, including one in Emory's NCAA Tournament Second Round victory over Centre College.  Her first career multiple goal game came on September 21st during a 6-0 win over Birmingham-Southern College, as the forward scored two goals (including the game winner) and assisted on two others for six points.  Butker recorded an assist in three-straight games from September 15th - 21st, tied for the third-longest streak in the program's history, and at least one point in six-straight contests from September 15th - October 3rd, the second longest streak ever by an Eagle.  Butker was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on September 24th after scoring three goals and two assists over a pair of games during the week.  She led all Eagles with three game-winning assists during the year, coming against the University of Chicago on September 29th, Agnes Scott College on October 3rd, and Covenant College on October 22nd.  The game-winning assist against Chicago was part of a season-high two assist effort for Butker, helping the Eagles to a 2-1 win over their conference opponent.  She took 53 shots during the season, 23 of which were on goal.  Through her first two seasons, Butker has collected 16 assists, and is on pace to break the school record of 31 assists, currently held by former Eagle Sylvia Ghani (1994-97).  She has added 10 goals over her 43-game career, good for a total of 36 points.

Freshman (2011):

Butker started her Emory career on a strong note, earning an honorable mention to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) team during her freshman campaign.  She finished the year tied for the team lead with six assists, third on the squad with 16 points, and fifth with five goals.  Her assist total was the sixth-highest among freshmen in the program's history, while her points rank her 19th among freshmen in team history.  Butker assisted on game-winning goals against Roanoke College on September 10th and Agnes Scott College on September 28th.  Her three goals in conference play ranked her fourth among all UAA players, and she was tied for fifth with six points.  Butker recorded a career-high four points (a goal and two assists) against Agnes Scott College on September 28th, en route to a 6-0 Emory win.  Her goal 45 seconds in the Eagles' game against the University of Chicago on October 1st was the fifth-fastest goal scored by an Eagle in the program's history.  Butker appeared in all 20 games for Emory, making 14 starts and taking 45 shots, including a team-high 27 shots on goal.

Prior to Emory:

Played on the Westminster Schools soccer team for four seasons, serving as the team captain during her senior campaign... Earned spots on the Georgia High School All-Star Team, the All-Northside Area First Team and All-Region First Team, in addition to being named the 2A Girl's Soccer Student Athlete of the Year in 2011... Also won the Golden Boot Award, the Most Outstanding Female Athlete Award, and the Clare Haverty Ridley Memorial Award for outstanding scholarship, leadership and moral character from Westminster... Presented with the Vincent J. Dooley Award her senior year... Named the Northside Area Player of the Year and placed on the all-Area First Team in 2010, in addition to receiving her school's Golden Boot Award... Scored 21 goals during her junior season, and 24 during her senior year... Coached by Clark Meyer in high school... Also played club soccer for the Atlanta Spurs FC, where she was coached by Ted MacDougall and served as the team captain for six seasons... Played basketball and ran cross country for Westminster in high school as well.
