Emory University senior Kelly Costopoulos scored the game-winning goal during the eighth-ranked Eagles 1-0 win at Case Western Reserve University on Sunday.  Costopoulos scored the game’s only goal striking for her fifth tally of the season in the 84^th minute of the contest.  It was the co-captain’s second game-winning goal of the season and her 11^th career game-winning goal, the third most in the program’s history.  The center midfielder finished Sunday’s contest with a game-high four shots.  On Friday night, Costopoulos helped lead the Eagles to a 2-0 win at the University of Rochester, playing 75 minutes and taking one shot on goal.  The Eagles improved to 5-1-0 in University Athletic Association (UAA) matches and to 13-3-1 overall with the weekend victories.
